Visa Fraud Alert: Mid India Christian Mission
Amazon Smile is a program that allows for a percentage of Amazon purchases to go to various charity organisations it whitelists, for consumers to choose from. It is notable however that Amazon India only lists Christian missionary organisations that consumers can support. One of them being the organisation we recently caught violating Indian visa laws-Mid India Christian Mission:
We have caught MID INDIA CHRISTIAN MISSION, which @amazonIN allows in their Amazon Smile program, while they do not allow Hindu NGOs in their program. Need any more confirmation that they support #ConversionMafia organisations? pic.twitter.com/nFWsan5VMj

Mid India Christian Mission (MICM) was started by one Vijai Lall in 1969. Vijai Lall was a 2nd generation Indian Christian; his father Samuel (old name Prem) Lall was converted as a young boy after being placed in a Christian orphanage. This whole story is proudly posted on MICM’s History page. It was headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA until 2011. Now it is headquartered in Fresno, California, USA. Vijai Lall’s son David Lall is now the president of MICM. David Lall’s wife Sheela is the vice president. David and Sheela’s son Vivek, who is in the US, is also part of MICM along with his white American wife.
The area they primarily work in is Madhya Pradesh, where the Lall family hails from. They have done church planting, built child care home, aka orphanages, and have built schools and training centers where they are open about their primary aim. To “bring people to Jesus”.
MICM has partnered with Cross City church in Fresno, which has sent over American missionaries to illegally convert vulnerable people in Madhya Pradesh. We have video proof of one James Corrao : https://www.instagram.com/p/B4dUFpJg56S/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
We also have proof that MICM has also established a presence in Udaipur, where Cross City missionaries have also gone. Here is a video with Thomas Corrao in Udaipur: https://www.instagram.com/p/B2Uz6CRAA-v/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
MICM’s efforts are paying off. They recently posted that they have planted their 50th church in Madhya Pradesh. It’s also notable that they acknowledge they can get kicked out, so they tell foreign missionaries not to post pictures on social media showing them baptising vulnerable people.
On this page, they give instructions to show how to support MICM through Amazon Smile. Previously when our investigators looked at the page, they said they had earned $51 from purchases made on Amazon, but they have since scrubbed that information from this page. It should also be noted, that their contact page has blocked Indian origin IP addresses; one would need to be outside of India or use a VPN to access it. The trend of Christian missionaries blocking Indian IP addresses and scrubbing websites and social media of anything that can be used against them continues.
Whatever visa these people hold in India, they are in violation of the terms and conditions of the visa. If they hold a missionary visa, visa holders cannot use it for proselytizing and can only join a missionary organization APPROVED by the government of India. In order to be approved by the government of India to operate within the country, an organization must receive a certificate indicating it is compliant with the Foreign Contributions Regulatory Act. If they hold a tourist visa, they can only use it for non-business purposes, such as tourism or visiting family and friends. Given that MICM openly admits to concealing evidence that they violate the FCRA, their organisation should lose their certification.
A complaint has been filed by the Mission Kaali team:
Once again, we humbly request you also file a complaint as an individual; you can do so at this link. We will be regularly updating you on the complaints we file against Christian organizations that subvert Indian laws to further their aims, and we ask you to do your part. We also humbly request you like this post, and share this post with friends and family. Let them know what missionaries are doing. Remember, complaints are listened to by the government, more than social media posts. Your complaints will help in getting FCRA certificates cancelled and these organizations permanently blacklisted!
We published a guide to filing complaints, which you can view HERE. You have a lot more power than you think you do; even missionaries are starting to take notice and they are getting worried.
Jai Maa Kaali!
