How the first female Church of England bishop, in an attempt to pander to social justice warriors, reveals the shaky foundation of the entire Christian religion itself
Most the Europe is Christian, but after the age of enlightenment, the importance of the church faded. Principles of equality between different groups of men soon gave way to equality between the sexes. Many of the major denominations started to allow women to take up leadership roles in the church structure, including the Church of England.
Sometime ago amid the debate in the British parliament over long-standing equality in the Church of England, the first woman Rachel Treweek said the Church of England should stop using male gender terms for Jesus, ie him, or he. Bishop Treweek also said in his address that “God [the Christian god yahweh] has no gender”. Therefore, it cannot be addressed with pronouns such as feminine, masculine. There were no women pastors or bishops in the church before, but now it has started happening in the last few years.
Also, Bishop Treweek very politely stated that when everyone says that God has made us like him and if he has made us like him then why do we see him as a man? God is only God; She cannot be seen as a man or a woman. Many other female priests also supported her, stating that God is beyond gender, that is, God cannot be portrayed as male or female.
The whole world is living in great confusion about “God” or the divine in general. And in most of the countries of the world, Christians maintain non-Christians have been worshiping fake gods. Now in Christian society, sometimes Jesus is called “God” or even the “Son of God”. They say “He” is one who takes away the suffering of people all over the world. However, after Bishop Treweek’s address, the bibie, the holy book of Christians, will certainly be viewed with skepticism. Because who is Jesus? Is he a she instead? Is he (or she) a man or woman?
According to the Bible, God created the entire universe in 6 days and on the seventh day he rested and that day was Sunday. Now the question is that the person who will rest, must have a body and the body should also have a penis, ie it must be a man or a woman. The second is that if he can build this world in 6 days then it means that such a vast universe can be created in only 6 days, then why does it take 9 months to produce a child. Does the bible prove to be just a book full of entertaining stories? Bishop Treweek must understand this first.
Does this not prove that this book can be a collection of fictional stories?
